Ontime
A family-owned logistics company's website with animations
Type: Responsive website
Role: UX/UI Designer, Art Director, Developer
Client: Ontime

During my time as a freelance UX Designer I had the chance to work on a small websites for a family-owned logistics company called Ontime.
I designed the website's structure and user experience, created the responsive website in Wordpress with Semplice, some customisation on my side (HTML + CSS) and nice Javascript animations.
First I defined the overall content structure and information architecture of the website. Then I designed all the screens wireframes and discussed them with the clients, before moving onto the final visual design of all modules and assets.
Animations
I experimented some animation designed in After Effects and exported as Javascript files via an AE extension called Bodimovin.
This allowed me to easily convert the 2d animation in code to be implemented in the website and rendered live in the page as SVG animated shapes - always crisp and defined no matter what device you're looking at the site from.
Once embedded as a javascript snippet in the page's desired position, the animation renders smoothly in the browser.
Brand identity
Together with the team at Ciao Ciao Studio, a graphic design studio in Palermo, we also designed the brand identity which included a series of materials, useful for the client for improving their company's visibility and engagement.
We designed - other than the logotype and overall brand concept - business cards, posters, tape and t-shirts for the employees.
